Hovering

Hovering, I do mean Hovering - lost 5 pounds two weeks ago and nothing since, blah! I need to exercise more but that would take effort and 2 children+husband= a lot of effort already. My sister in-law runs all the time and she has 3 kids and works full time... HOW! I just have to make myself do it, I know!

So I drink a lot of milk, breastfeeding sort of requires it, Recently I switched from 2 % milk to fat-free and realized I was saving myself about 100-200 calories a day and a 10-20 grams of fat, isn't that crazy, I vowed I would never do it, but now that I am used to it I don't notice the difference, in fact I think I like it more, its not so heavy.

I want to lost 5 more by Christmas, If I could be 199 on Christmas, I would be one happy Santa.

Cheating

Why is it that we think snacking late at night when no one can see or in the middle of the day when no one is watching, doesn't count. It's like this, if no one see's me eat that brownie then it never happened right? Well it did happen and blah, it has to stop.

BLAH!

So the weight loss is a little slower than expected... One major snag, I am still nursing and so I can't lose too much too fast without messing up my milk, so new goal is eat healthy, exercise daily and hopefully my body will be nice to me... A pound or two a week is all I'm asking. I loved the advice you all gave me! I am taking Rachelle's advice and keeping water around. The weight watchers coupons could not be located and its too expensive but I did a little research around the edges and I am cutting back the carbs, eating more fresh fruits and veggies for snacks and getting more exercise, which will be easier now that we have the extra room. Halloween wasn't too bad because Aaron ate most of Penny's candy so the temptation was gone before it ever was.

SO FAT!

THE GOAL

So I had a dream last night that I weighed 500 lbs and couldn't get off the couch. I don't think it's a secret that miss Alisha has gained a few pounds in the last 5 years, life comes at you fast. But I am on a mission to shed more that a few unwanted pounds and I think a blog that I have to answer to might help me out a little. So I am gonna be real about this. My goal is 3-5 pounds a week, for a total 60 pounds. Yes 60! I weigh in at a whopping 210 and I need to be at 150. That's where I was in my senior pictures and that is a healthy, manageable weight for my body type (according to me) . I am guessing this will take anywhere from 12-20 weeks to accomplish. So by next spring I will be at a healthier weight to get pregnant again. I want more kids and at this rate my body is not gonna be able to handle it without a serious overhaul. So wish me luck and offer any tips or advice.

The plan
1. Exercise 5 days a week for at least 20 minutes, at least two of those workouts must be a long walk or jog.
2. Cut out the candy and reduce the fat intake.
3. If I do eat candy or fatty foods.... burn it off.
4. No more food after 8 at night.
5. Portion meals appropriately and increase my fruit and veggie sides and snacks.

If I don't lose any weight in the next two weeks I will look for a more structured method.

Wish me luck.
